Chris is an experienced traditional Five Element acupuncturist who has been working in Coleshill since 1996. Chris originally trained as a social worker and qualified in 1977, specialising in group and community work. She began Traditional Acupuncture Treatment in 1984 and due to the great improvement in her own well-being soon decided to train as an acupuncturist and began her training in 1987 at the College of Traditional Acupuncture (CTA) and finally qualified in 1996 due to the delay of giving birth to her daughter in 1988.
She was invited to join the CTA Faculty and has been lecturing since 1998. She has a teaching qualification from Oxford Brookes University and has an honours degree in acupuncture from Kingston University. She is currently Head of Second Year studies.
She has developed her own unique women’s workshops that combine east and west paradigms which she generally holds in Glastonbury.
Chris has also had counselling and psychotherapy which works very well alongside traditional acupuncture. She is passionate about the power of acupuncture to bring about transformation in people’s lives so that they can truly become their authentic selves and walk the path that is right for them.
