Member of Faculty of College of Traditional Acupuncture
Affiliated to Oxford Brookes University
Chris was invited to join the Faculty
of the College of Traditional Acupuncture in 1998. It is a unique place of learning, having its lineage with Professor J.R. Worsley, one of the leading founders of Five Element Acupuncture in the UK.
Chris has been teaching regularly on first year teaching teams for the past seven years. The college continues with the Five Element Acupuncture tradition and became an Educational Charity in 1994. Successful students are awarded their Licentiate by the College and their BA Honours Degree by Oxford Brookes University.
The course is an exciting and challenging period of study for students and requires both dedication and hard work. It is an Accredited College and consequently patients can feel secure that all students have been trained to high standards.
Chris really enjoys her work at the college and particularly likes the interactive work around the Five Elements. It moved to new premises in October 2005, which is an exciting development. The premises are much bigger, situated in beautiful countryside and the college now has its own tree filled grounds which offer great opportunities to work with the Five Elements in nature.
