Qualified Reiki Healer

Chris is also a qualified Reiki Healer, at Level One and Two, in the Usui tradition. Reiki is a hands on healing which accesses Universal Life Energy to bring whatever healing is needed for the person. It is a very simple and natural form of healing which often is experienced like a wonderful glowing radiance.

One of the benefits is that it can assist the spiritual growth of the attuned person. Reiki can be used as a self healing practice and consequently can be very empowering. There are three levels to practice: Reiki One, Two and Master. Only a Reiki Master can introduce someone to the healing system and this is known as an ‘Attunement’, when we are literally attuned to being able to hear and vibrate with the healing energies of the Universe.

Level One Reiki is the first step. The system is introduced to the person and they are forever then in connection with the life forces. Self-healing is the main aspect at this level, with people being encouraged to regularly treat themselves and to offer unpaid healing to friends and family. When people have worked with these energies and become confident they can then move on to Level Two which builds on the previous attunement and takes the healing to a deeper level. They can then offer their services to the wider public and receive payment. Finally, there is the Master Level which goes to an even deeper level of practice and understanding in order to be able to attune other people. Clearly, people are free to make choices about which level is suitable for them.
